In planning the new FireShield panels we discussed using the security plugs. After much consideration (about two minutes) we all agreed it would be better to drop the plugs. I always hated those things. BOLD used to use them and when one had a problem during a major software upgrade we had to go manual in the central station while they over-nighted a replacement to us. Two of the engineers commented that techs gripe about plugs. Open the EST app that is used to remote program FireShield. It's called 'DACT Manager'. Click F1 to start the help system. Take a look at the Add New Project page.
